Shaktipat and Kundalini Sadhana

Peter (also known by his spiritual name Rudra) is an Acharya within the Shaktipat lineage of Swami Rudrananda and Bhagavan Nityananda. He was initiated as a teacher by Swami Khecharanatha in 2011 and took vows of an Acharya in Ganeshpuri, India in 2017. He teaches Kundalini meditation “open-eyes” in the style of Rudi (Swami Rudrananda). This technique facilitates the transmission of Shakti (spiritual energy) from the teacher to the student and provides a potent nourishment for the spiritual growth of the student.

Rudra has studied closely with Swami Khecaranatha since 2008 and had the opportunity to spend 4 years living as student-in-residence at the meditation center Rudramandir in Berkeley. He has accumulated over a years' worth of time in extended meditation retreats as well as traveling and studying Tantric scripture in India. He currently serves as a director on the board of Rudramandir in Berkeley.

"Peter led several corporate meditation sessions for our company.  These sessions were optional for our company of about 35 local employees at the time.  In each case approximately 25% to 33% of our company employees elected to participate, which we thought was good for a voluntary session.  Feedback received by management was universally positive.  Comments generally were in one of three categories:

a)       People were grateful that we thought enough of our team to offer mindfulness sessions like meditation,

b)       Peter’s demeanor and style were appreciated, well-received and effective, and

c)       People asked us to continue offering the sessions regularly, which is certainly a strong indication that Peter’s work was helpful.

Going forward, we intend to bring Peter back regularly and look forward to continued team-building and sustainable, mindful growth as a company."
